ok so i'm going to try out something new here. on fridays, i'll share a few digital layouts i've made during the course of the week and link you to a cool digital freebie that i've found. now paper scrappers don't grown. some of the freebies could be used in paper scrapping. for instance - templates are really just sketches right? and digital elements can be printed and used for cards or on your layouts. the possibilities are endless.

here are a couple layouts from this week from me.

ANOTHER GIVEAWAY - layout a day with lain ehmann

It’s almost Layout a Day (LOAD) time!Spend October with Lain Ehmann, and together you’ll talk about the importance of Story in Scrapbooking. You'll even get to hear an interview Lain did with me (ums and all) about storytelling!

If you’re wondering what the heck the Layout a Day (LOAD) challenge is, it's..
-a way for scrappers around the globe to push themselves through “scrapper’s block” and get scrapping!
-a month-long challenge to create a layout a day
-a month of support, daily prompts and challenges, prizes, and more with the nicest group of scrapbookers on the Internet!

For a month, LOADsters join together on a private message board and gallery and share our daily layouts.

Here’s the scoop:

You sign up. You join. You get a daily prompt and inspiration email, and you create a layout a day. Every day. Yes, 31 layouts in 31 days. Yes, EVERY DAY! Is that too ambitious? Well, then, you should have taken part in February when you only had to create 28 layouts!

October's theme is "Story." The daily challenges include contests, interviews, prizes, and more... normal registration fee is $30, but for ONE lucky winner from this blog, it's FREE! :)

Just comment below and tell me how many layouts you typically do in a month! I'll pull a winner next Wednesday morning (September 8th.)
