it's the beginning of a new month (usually we do february), which means it’s time for the great scrapbook race! for the past few years doris sander, paula gilarde, torm and I race to see who can complete the most projects during a one month period. there is no prize – just bragging rights and of course the thrill of completing a bunch of projects in one month. well, there’s also the opportunity to trash talk your opponents!

typically, doris calls the rules calvin ball and she makes them up as we go. to start layouts and projects of any size count for one point each. cards and mini-album pages will count for a half point each. so we'll see, usually i win  because well those other three are lame (yes there is the trash talk), but this year i'm not going to make any extra effort. just do what i normally do - i feel kind-hearted and maybe i'll let one of them win. bwa ha ha! or maybe just maybe i'll hold back my numbers and post some outrageous number with proof before the end of the month. i'm low on cards, maybe it's time to make a few hundred b-day cards. ;) ya just never know.

here's one of my first layouts for the month. i ahve another i can't show it's for a digimorph over at design house digital. and i made 6 simple cards this am. that puts me at FIVE. watch out ladies!
