paper flower tutorial and new scrappy goods

::source

i've been intrigued with paper flowers these past few months - all these great tutorials and seeing them on layouts and cards. i think i ought to buy some punches or start putting my silhouette to better use! there are so many flower dingbat fonts out there just waiting to be cut. :) i should also let go of not suing them on my boy's pages - it's a hangup of mine - i know my little guy doesn't mind! i should have a couple flower tutorials up in a couple of spots over the next few weeks i'll be sure to link you up.

oh the new scrappy goods are putting a hole in my pocket!  just last night i found the new girl's paperie on holiday paper and while putting it in my cart i couldn't resist picking up a few goodies that are in the add-on kits that studio calico sneaked the other day. also, added some jillibean green corrugated alphas (i should have picked up the white too!) and the 7 gypsies avignon paper (i need to find the diagram paper as it was out of stock!) now i should start scrapping again. i haven't scrapped since the conclusion of the great february contest. all these new goodies - i should get crack-a-lackin!

and my slice sold! which is marvelous - so glad someone else is going to get some use out of it. it was just sitting there collecting dust!

here's a challenge for you - figure out a way of using flowers in a non-flower way on a boy page. Go!

That flower is so cute! I was talking about the whole flower-on-boy-pages thing with my sister in law, Ginger Williams the other day as we walked around our LSS and she said that stars are the flowers on a boy page :) I've seen lots of flowers on boy pages and it looks really cute if you do it in the right way, which I am sure you would. Have a great day, Celeste. By the way, your kind words about my work mean a great deal- you know I'm your #1 fan♥ ;)
