i've spent the month in a calvinball contest with paula and doris to see who could scrap the most. points were awarded - 1 pt. for every card, page, and mini-album page created between february 1st and today february 28th.

i have a grand total of 239. my cohorts are still furiously plugging away. doris is currently at 93 and paula has a whopping 156. check out their blogs tomorrow for details. i might make a few more cards tonight. we'll see.

i did 124 layouts and mini-album pages. i'm sharing a few here - but can't show all - some are for assignments and some are just not anything i would share - super simple layouts that just tell our story.

i made 114 cards here are most of them. some i sent out as thank yous, valentines and birthdays this month.

i spent over 32 hours cropping at new england scrapbook during the month of february and made at least 2 layouts every day. as well i sat in front of the tv a couple nights and cranked out cards. i can not wait to go back to a more normal pace tomorrow. i'll tell you one thing though - this process reinvigorated my love for this hobby. i'm currently 100% back in it - refreshed and obsessed! we usually do this about once per year. next time i'll invite you to play along.

for someone that rarely posts about herself i'm just full of it this week! lol! marnie flores and i did a layout swap - you can see the results over at the write.click.scrapbook blog. my creation is above. what fun to scrap with pink. aren't her girls adorable? the patterned papers here are new my mind's eye quite contrary. the alphas are american crafts salutations. the felt is fancy pants - it's really old! and there is a sass brad and two american crafts brads on there.

a layout for pebbles

new scrap space

here are a couple photos of my "new" scrap space. down to two tables and my expedit is still upstairs. getting use to having less room - but i'm liking being in the living room with everyone bustling around me. the painting on the wall was done by my little guy when he was in pre-school. dh is working on my old space for the little guy and i'll be moving into my new to me orange scraproom soon!

if you look close you might spot my bella blvd altered item in the picture!

the smart gals I crop with made their own ribbon holders for cheap. this is all the ribbon i own now - in one little bag. i simply purchased this little makeup bag for $7 and punched holes in it with my crop-a-dile. now all my ribbon is in one compact space!

sorry i didn't post yesterday. i'm in the process of moving out of my studio so that dh can paint. finally i'm switching rooms with my son. i'll try and take some pics of my swing space to share next week. it's going to be interesting as stuff is all over the house! it's all worth it in the end. my son will have a bigger room, i won't have to share my space with his craft area, and my room will have an orange wall! :) my son's new room will be similar to the color behind this chandelier above!
