LOAD212 complete!

today was the last day of LOAD212 with lain. i did 29 layouts for this class in february. 29 straggler stories told. i was able to close out my may, june, july and august 2011 list of stories. it was a lot of fun and a great community to participate in. she's doing it again in may so watch for that.

super simple this week! as you can see the second page is my second saturday!

second saturday for february

i committed to 12 photos on the second saturday of each month in 2012. i can't do the 12th - most months i sit at my desk all day that day. so today was second saturday and my boys are away for the weekend skiing. my second second saturday without them! next month i'm hoping they are around - easier to find things to photograph.

super simple this week. happy to have it done!

teacher valentine card

i whipped up this quick card today for my son's teachers. used a digi kit called cup of joy from jenn barrette for the cup. then added a punched heart from cosmo cricket scraps to the front.

on the back i made a simple pocket and added the sentiment. 

i plan to put starbuck's gift cards in the pocket!

 just thought i'd share if you are looking for something cute and easy to make!
